Logistics People are recruiting an Operations Manager on Behalf of iFORCE.
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000.00 per annum
Role Purpose:
The Operations Manager will manage all site operations activity across all warehouse functions to maximise profit whilst achieving revenue growth targets. This person will focus on ensuring SLAs are improved on every occasion. The Operations Manager will play a key role in helping improve the site and develop the management team to ensure there is a clear succession plan in the operation. They will be a leader who leads by example and ensures that quality processes are used on every occasion.

KPI’s
Manage the collection of data and maintenance of records as required to produce the agreed Key Performance Indicators. Be aware of the required performance levels and ensure compliance as a minimum, but strive for excellence:
- Financial – Site and client profitability
- Service level performance / SLA’s for client inc stock integrity measure; stock storage standards
- People measures – development reviews, GCE and Investors in people parameters and succession plans are all in place
- Accurate Records of all attendance related matters including holiday /unauthorised absence/sickness/timekeeping and agency usage
- Health and Safety reporting, including employee accidents, near misses, MHE status/defects
- Any other details or statistics that are reasonably requested by the Senior Management Team
Key Skills:
- Dynamic leader – Experience of managing large teams within a fast paced commercial environment
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
- Experience and knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodologies
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills
- Client facing – used to interacting/relationship building within large organisations at senior levels
- Commercial awareness of managing client SLAs, measuring and monitoring performance using various IT systems
