    Warehouse Admin Clerk 


    Logistics people are looking for an admin clerk for our site in Foston 

    Working hours-   4 on 4 off days or nights – 06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00

    Pay rate– £9.50 – £10.50 

    Purpose of job role 

    The Administrator is responsible for monitoring all Stock movements within the warehouse. Setting up and running orders in line with the shift plan and to meet scheduled dispatch times. Working closely with the warehouse FLM`s to effectively manage resource and ensure that the flow of work is continuous to maximise efficiency. 

    To assist and support the warehouse operatives when required.

    To monitor and update shift plans in order to deliver regular progress updates.  



    • Attend work on a regular and timely basis
    • Achieve and maintain the required level of work rate
    • Process visiting drivers and paperwork ensuring strict control over access and exit to and from site
    • Ensure all operational documents are completed in full with correct information
    • Being reasonably flexible in hours and duties
    • Being able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
    • Use and develop skills in multiple warehouse management applications
    • Follow instructions from your FLM / Shift Manager.
    • Maintain good communication with your FLM / Shift Manager. Confident to escalate issues in a timely manner.
    • Pre-allocate loads (full and unit picks)
    • Input pre-advises for customer inbounds
    • Ensure advanced pick position is maintained in line with shift plan.
    • Run orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
    • Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
    • Selecting Loading / Un-loading Bay based on current operational requirements.
    • Updating the Electronic Schedule and Auto-store to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
    • Carryout stock shortage investigations on picks.
    • Monitor replenishments
    • Compile and send reports as required.
    • Control equipment allocation within area RDT/MHE Registers
    • Undertake system housekeeping relevant to role
