The Logistics People are recruiting a Wash Operative on behalf of LGV Fleet Services.

Job Role:

Wash Operative

Location : Stoke-upon-Trent

Pay: £10 per hour + Bonus

Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Days: Monday to Friday

Overtime: OTE

Motivated and enthusiastic Wash Operative required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Wash Operative to join our new purpose-built facility and become part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees, looking to become the markets leading industry as a One Stop Service/Repair/Paint shop.

The Wash Operative role involves:

Steam cleaning all trailer types ready for the workshop and paint process.

Making sure trailers are constantly passing through the wash.

Good communication with the team of shunters is essential.

Good housekeeping is essential.

Operating all equipment in line with Safe Systems of Work.

Good attitude towards Health and Safety is essential.

Willingness to learn new skills.

Ensuring all Chemicals and Diesel are stored correctly in the designated area.

The successful candidate must be organised. You must also have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in an outdoor environment.
