The Logistics People are recruiting a HGV Trailer Repairer on behalf of LGV Fleet Services.

Job role:

 HGV Trailer Repairer

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Pay: Competitive rates of pay + Bonus Scheme

Hours: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm

Days: Monday to Friday

Overtime: OTE

The Successful applicants will report to the Workshop Management assisting in repairs/re-fits to commercial trailers in for refurbishment. This is a varied interesting role working on high volume, high specification vehicles for prestige blue chip customers, our aim is to be a market leader in the industry as a One stop Service/Repair shop.

Skills and Experience

Suitable candidates should demonstrate the following:

• experienced in MIG welding steels up to 12mm thickness
• The ability to weld other materials such as stainless steels, Alloy would be Advantageous
• Fully competent in the use of hand and air tools
• Ability to read and work from fabrication drawings
• Capable of working to demanding deadlines
• Plasma cutting experience would be an advantage, but full training will be given to the right candidate
• Good mechanical understanding
• Ability to strip trailers/Rebuild to current specification
• Exsperenice in Body repair work
• Follow all H&S Guidelines
